Services
Nunez Mediations offers a variety of options for mediations emphasizing convenience for attorneys and their clients. I offer both half-day and full-day mediation sessions. Mediations typically start at 9:00 AM (for morning and/or full-day mediations), and 1:00 PM (for afternoon mediations) but can start earlier, or later, depending upon the location and the preference of the participants. Ultimately the start time is up to all parties involved.
Fee Schedule
Regular Per Diem Fees. Nunez Mediation charges $ per half-day and $ per full-day for virtual mediation session or in-person mediation (in San Diego County).
For in-person mediations outside of San Diego County, please contact me for travel rates.
Fees Included as Part of Regular Per Diem Fees: The half-day fee for a virtual mediation or an in-person mediation in San Diego County includes all preparation time including reading briefs and exhibits, all pre-mediation call(s), all travel time, and 4 hours of mediation time.
My full-day fee for virtual mediations includes all preparation time including reading briefs and exhibits, all pre-mediation call(s), and 8 hours of mediation time.
My full-day fee for in-person mediations outside of San Diego County includes all preparation time including reading briefs and exhibits, all pre-mediation call(s), and 8 hours of mediation time. On a case-by-case basis, I may need to bill for my travel time for in-person mediations outside of San Diego County. Please contact me for travel time rates for full-day in-person mediations outside of San Diego County.
The fees referenced on this page are applicable for mediations that occur Monday through Friday. An extra fee may be applied for a weekend mediation. Please check my calendar for weekend availability and contact me concerning whether an extra fee will apply.
Post-Mediation Services
While Nunez Mediation reserves the right to charge for post-mediation follow up services at a rate of up to $750 per hour, in general, this charge is rarely levied. Generally, absent extraordinary circumstances there will be no additional fees.
Costs for In-Person Mediation Hearings
In general, if an in-person mediation is requested, facilities for in-person mediations will be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Normally there is no fee, however, on occasion additional costs will be assessed for an in-person hearing.
Fees and Pro-Rata Division
Generally, the Regular Per Diem Fees, Post-Mediation Fees, and Third-Party Facilities Cost(s) will be billed to and are due from the mediation participants in equal, pro rata shares, unless the parties agree to a different allocation and notify Nunez Mediation in writing prior to the time the billing invoice is created.
